FOR GRANTSEEKERS
We invite you to contribute your media-related project to the website. The GFEM Media Database is a site where funders can come to learn about media projects they may wish to support. One of our goals is to shorten the time needed for worthy projects to raise funds, providing a benefit to producers/organizations, the field, and, ultimately, society as a whole.
Please start by creating a project. You will be asked to provide detailed information on your project’s content, principals, and budget. We encourage you to utilize the multimedia elements of the site, such as weblinks, video, audio and pictures.
Each project submitted to the Media Database is carefully reviewed by GFEM staff. You can expect a decision on whether or not your project has been accepted for inclusion in the database within seven business days of submitting your entry. Once a GFEM administrator approves your project, your listing will go live on the website and become a listing in the Media Database. After your project goes live, you will be able to update the project’s database listing as the project progresses.
Eligibility
Projects submitted for consideration must already have at least one foundation grant or support from at least one government funder (local, state, or federal). Projects are not limited by subject, location or scope. Content Projects must have a significant film, video, audio or electronic media element in their final delivery to be considered for inclusion. Please note that your profile in the GFEM Media Database does not
constitute a grant proposal. GFEM is not a grantmaking organization,
nor can we give fundraising advice.
